The total GDP of the countries that make up the EMB index is less than the US GDP (the Brazilian GDP is overestimated due to the appreciation of the R$ currency). Those countries are the tail and the head is in developed countries (the tail follows the head). Furthermore there is the law of physics: the temperature of the mixture of 1 liter of hot water with half liter of cold water will be at least warm. Just food for thought.
